MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEIGHT COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

These Membership Terms & Conditions govern membership of the Deight Community.

By purchasing a Deight Community Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, together with the Community Guidelines and any other policies published by Deight from time to time.

Membership is a privilege, not a right, and continued membership is subject to maintaining the standards and values of the Deight Community.

2. MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY

Membership is subject to application and approval.

Submission of an application or payment of a membership fee does not guarantee acceptance into the community.

Deight reserves the right to approve or decline any application at its sole discretion.

3. MEMBERSHIP FEES

Membership is charged on a recurring monthly basis.

The membership fee displayed at the time of purchase will be charged immediately upon joining and automatically renew each month unless cancelled.

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Deight reserves the right to amend membership pricing at any time. Existing members will be given reasonable notice before any pricing changes take effect.

4. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

Your membership operates on a rolling monthly subscription.

By joining, you authorise Deight to automatically charge your chosen payment method each month until your membership is cancelled.

It is your responsibility to ensure your payment information remains valid and up to date.

5. CANCELLATION

You may cancel your membership at any time.

If you cancel, your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

No further payments will be taken following cancellation.

Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of your current billing period.

6. REFUNDS

Membership fees are generally non-refundable.

However, if a membership application is declined during the approval process, any membership fee paid will be refunded in full.

Deight may also issue refunds at its sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.

7. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

All members must comply with the Deight Community Guidelines.

Failure to comply with the Community Guidelines may result in warnings, suspension, event restrictions, or termination of membership.

8. MEMBER CONDUCT

Members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly at all times.

Members must not engage in behaviour that negatively impacts the safety, wellbeing, reputation, atmosphere, or enjoyment of the community or its members.

Deight reserves the right to investigate complaints and take any action deemed necessary to protect the community.

9. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

Deight reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership at its sole discretion.

Membership may be terminated immediately, without notice or refund, where a member:

• Breaches the Community Guidelines

• Engages in harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, or threatening behaviour

• Creates disruption, conflict, or division within the community

• Uses the community for business promotion, sales, recruitment, networking, lead generation, or commercial gain

• Acts in a manner that is harmful to other members or the community as a whole

• Provides false, misleading, or incomplete information during the application process

• Damages the reputation, integrity, safety, or culture of the community

All decisions relating to membership status are final.

10. EVENTS

The Deight Community is designed to provide members with regular opportunities to socialise, connect, and participate in community activities.

Deight aims to provide sufficient events and activities each month to allow members a reasonable opportunity to attend approximately eight (8) community events per month, together with additional premium events, special experiences, and partner events which may carry separate charges.

While we endeavour to provide a variety of events, Deight does not guarantee attendance at any specific event.

Certain events may:

• Have limited capacity

• Require advance booking or RSVP

• Require a separate ticket purchase

• Include additional charges

• Be restricted based on venue requirements or event format

Places at events are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated.

EVENT ATTENDANCE AND RSVP COMMITMENT

To ensure a positive experience for all members and to help organisers, venues, and fellow members plan effectively, members are expected to honour event RSVPs.

If a member confirms attendance at an event and subsequently fails to attend without cancelling at least 24 hours before the event start time, a £20 No-Show Fee may be applied.

The purpose of this fee is to:

• Encourage reliable attendance

• Protect event quality and atmosphere

• Reduce empty spaces at events

• Support organisers and participating venues

• Maintain engagement and fairness within the community

NO-SHOW FEES

Where a No-Show Fee is applied:

• The fee must be paid before the member can RSVP to future events

• Membership will remain active during this period

• The member's monthly membership subscription will continue as normal

• No refunds or credits will be issued against membership fees as a result of a No-Show Fee

Deight reserves the right to waive No-Show Fees at its sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Repeated no-shows, late cancellations, or patterns of unreliable attendance may result in restrictions on event bookings, temporary suspension of event privileges, or termination of membership where deemed necessary to protect the community experience.

EVENT CHANGES

Deight reserves the right to amend, postpone, relocate, substitute, or cancel events where necessary due to venue availability, organiser requirements, safety concerns, weather conditions, insufficient attendance, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. LIABILITY

Members attend events and participate in community activities at their own risk.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deight shall not be liable for indirect losses, personal arrangements made between members, or circumstances outside of Deight's reasonable control.

Members remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, travel arrangements, and interactions with other members.

12. PRIVACY

Deight will handle member information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

Members are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of other members at all times.

13. CHANGES TO MEMBERSHIP TERMS

Deight reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will be published on the Deight website and shall take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.

Continued membership following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.

By purchasing, maintaining, or renewing a Deight Community Membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Membership Terms & Conditions and the Deight Community Guidelines.

You acknowledge that membership is subject to ongoing compliance with both documents and that Deight reserves the right to take any action necessary to protect the wellbeing, safety, reputation, and long-term success of the community.
