WHAT IS DEIGHT?
DEIGHT is the premium social club for singles over 30 across the Midlands. It is not a dating app, speed dating or a matchmaking service.
DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND DEIGHT?
No. DEIGHT Socials are open to guests and members, with no membership required. Public attendance does not create membership. Members' Socials are exclusively for approved, ID-verified DEIGHT Members.
WHAT IS A DEIGHT SOCIAL?
A DEIGHT Social is a larger public social event, including Singles Social Mixers, parties and themed or special events where applicable. They are open to guests and members.
WHAT IS A MEMBERS' SOCIAL?
A Members' Social is a private social or experience for approved, ID-verified DEIGHT Members.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
DEIGHT Socials are public and open to guests and members with no membership required. Members' Socials are private and exclusively for approved, ID-verified DEIGHT Members.
HOW MUCH DOES GENERAL DEIGHT MEMBERSHIP COST?
It is free to apply and free to join once approved. Every application is personally reviewed, membership is by approval, there is no subscription, and approved applicants complete one-time ID verification. Members pay for the Members' Socials and experiences they choose to attend.
HOW DO I APPLY?
Complete the DEIGHT membership application. Applying is free, and submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?
Every application is personally reviewed. If approved, you complete quick, one-time ID verification; once verification is successfully completed, your DEIGHT membership is activated.
HOW ARE APPLICATIONS REVIEWED?
Every application is personally reviewed by DEIGHT. Membership is by approval and approval is not automatic or guaranteed.
WHY ID VERIFY? DO I NEED TO VERIFY EVERY TIME?
ID verification helps create the approved member community and is completed once after approval, not every time. Guests attending a public DEIGHT Social do not need ID verification.
WHAT HAPPENS ONCE ACTIVE? DO I PAY?
Once active, approved members can access private Members' Socials and pay as they go for the chosen socials and experiences. There is no monthly membership fee.
WHAT ARE THE PUBLIC EVENTS?
DEIGHT Socials and monthly public pop-up mixers are open to guests and members. You do not need membership to attend, and attending does not create membership.
WHAT TYPES OF EXPERIENCES DOES DEIGHT OFFER?
Midweek & Friday Lounge Socials / Members Mixers; Saturday Premium Experiences; Sunday Reset Socials. Not every experience type is scheduled in every city.
WHEN DO MEMBERS' SOCIALS HAPPEN?
We're creating a growing calendar of private Members' Socials and experiences across the Midlands. Approved members hear first when new events are released in the locations they've selected.
CAN I ATTEND DEIGHT IN DIFFERENT CITIES? WHERE DOES DEIGHT OPERATE?
ONE MEMBERSHIP. EVERY DEIGHT CITY. Approved members can access DEIGHT across the Midlands, subject to availability; this does not guarantee an event in every city.
CAN I ATTEND BEFORE I APPLY?
Yes. Public DEIGHT Socials are open to guests and members, so you can attend without membership. Public attendance does not create membership.
WHEN ARE NEW EVENTS ANNOUNCED?
Confirmed public events are added to the DEIGHT calendar as they are released. Approved members hear first when private Members' Socials are released in the locations they've selected.
WHO CAN APPLY TO JOIN DEIGHT?
Adults aged 30 and over who are single, genuinely interested in meeting people in person, willing to provide accurate information, verify identity and follow the Member Code of Conduct.
What is DEIGHT Connections?
After an event, attendees may be sent a short form listing the first names of people who were there. If you'd like to stay in touch with someone, you can indicate it. Where the interest is mutual, we'll make the introduction so you can exchange details if you both wish. Nothing is shared unless it's mutual, and taking part is entirely optional.
DO I HAVE TO BE OUTGOING?
No. We simply ask members to be open to meeting people and willing to participate.
CAN DEIGHT SUSPEND OR TERMINATE MY MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. DEIGHT may suspend or terminate membership for a breach of the Member Code of Conduct.
