COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
The Deight Community
Our mission is to create a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive social community where members can build genuine connections, attend events, expand their social circles, and enjoy meaningful experiences together.
To ensure a positive experience for everyone, all members are expected to follow these Community Guidelines.
By joining the Deight Community, you agree to abide by these guidelines at all times, whether participating online, in person, or at any Deight-organised event.
OUR COMMUNITY VALUES
We encourage all members to:
• Be respectful and considerate of others
• Be welcoming and inclusive
• Support a positive and friendly atmosphere
• Respect personal boundaries
• Engage honestly and authentically
• Help create a safe environment for everyone
RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR
Members must treat one another with dignity and respect at all times.
The following behaviours are not permitted:
• Bullying, intimidation, or harassment
• Aggressive, threatening, or abusive behaviour
• Personal attacks or insulting comments
• Discrimination based on age, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic

• Repeated unwanted contact after someone has asked you to stop
PERSONAL BOUNDARIES
Every member has the right to feel safe and comfortable.
Members must:
• Respect personal space and boundaries
• Accept rejection gracefully
• Respect another member's decision not to engage further
• Avoid persistent unwanted communication
• Obtain consent before sharing personal information, photographs, or videos involving other members
No member is ever obligated to continue a conversation, attend an event, exchange contact details, or engage in any form of relationship.
RELATIONSHIPS, DATING AND PERSONAL CONNECTIONS
We recognise that friendships, romantic relationships, and personal connections may naturally develop between members of the Deight Community.
While we welcome genuine connections, members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and maturely if relationships do not work out.
Members must:
• Treat former partners, dates, and personal connections with respect
• Avoid creating conflict, drama, or division within the community
• Refrain from discussing private relationship matters publicly within community spaces or at events
• Avoid attempts to isolate, exclude, or influence other members against an individual
• Respect requests for space and boundaries following the end of a relationship or personal connection
• Continue behaving courteously at events, even where a former partner or date may be present
The ending of a friendship, date, relationship, or personal connection does not remove a member's right to participate in the community.
Where personal disputes begin negatively impacting the wider community, Deight reserves the right to intervene and take appropriate action to protect the experience of all members.
Members are expected to prioritise the wellbeing of the community above personal disagreements.
The Deight Community is a shared social space. Members are expected to act with maturity and respect, regardless of personal circumstances or relationship outcomes.

MEMBER FEEDBACK AND COMMUNITY PROTECTION
The wellbeing of the community is a priority for Deight.
Members are encouraged to raise concerns about behaviour that they believe is negatively impacting the community or the experience of other members.
Where concerns are raised regarding a member's conduct, Deight may gather feedback from relevant members, review the circumstances, and determine whether any action is necessary.
While member feedback may be taken into consideration, all decisions regarding warnings, suspensions, event attendance, and membership termination remain at the sole discretion of Deight.
In cases involving serious misconduct, safety concerns, harassment, discrimination, threats, or behaviour that places other members at risk, Deight reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership immediately without prior notice.
Our goal is not to punish individuals, but to protect the integrity, safety, and enjoyment of the community as a whole.

If you experience or witness behaviour that breaches these guidelines, please report it to the Deight team as soon as possible.
Reports will be reviewed fairly and confidentially wherever possible.

The severity of action taken will depend on the nature and seriousness of the conduct.
Deight reserves the right to determine appropriate action at its sole discretion.

These Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time to ensure the continued safety, integrity, and success of the Deight Community.
Members are responsible for reviewing the latest version of these guidelines.

We are committed to building a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable community where people can create genuine social connections, attend great events, and become part of something positive.
By working together and treating each other with respect, we can ensure the Deight Community remains a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and welcome.
